Women's health

Menopause & Beyond

Your hormones, and everything the hormones affect.

Who it’s for

Women in their forties and fifties navigating perimenopause or menopause. Also for women already on HRT who want a proper review, and for women past menopause who want to understand the wider health picture.

Why this panel is built differently

Most menopause blood tests measure four or five hormones and stop. That misses the point. The years around menopause are when cholesterol, blood sugar, bone markers, thyroid function and iron all start to move — and those changes matter more for the next thirty years than the hormone numbers themselves. This panel measures the hormones and the wider picture, in one draw, and a hormone specialist explains how they fit together.

Important

Menopause is diagnosed on symptoms and history, not on a blood test. Hormone levels fluctuate too much during perimenopause for a single measurement to confirm or rule it out — and if you're over 45 with typical symptoms, national guidance says hormone testing usually isn't needed to make the diagnosis at all. What this panel does is measure what's happening across the rest of your health at the same time, and give you a specialist to talk it through with.

How this compares

Thriva Menopause Insights

£131

Cheaper, but it contains no sex hormones at all, and there is nobody to discuss it with.
